Shot comes in different sizes, and choosing the right size shot is dependent upon what kind of flooring is desired. Smaller shot will leave lighter markings on the floor, and is recommended for use before applying thinner epoxy coatings. Larger shot will show more texture in the concrete and is recommended for thicker epoxy coatings as well as to remove contaminants from the floor.
